Preschool - Field Trip to the Zoo!!

The Preschoolers went on a filed trip to the Inokashira Zoo last Friday! Granny Shoko came with us too. We have been studying about zoo and farm animals, so it was a perfect experience. The children loved Hanako-san the moss-covered elephant (lol) , the Japanese squirrels running past them in the squirrel park, and holding cute, soft guinea pigs! They did a great job recognizing the animals they learned back in class at school :-) Hooray!

先週の金曜日、プリスクールのお友達は井の頭動物園へ遠足に出かけました。グラニー・ショウコも来てくれたよ。今月は動物園と牧場の動物達についてお勉強してきたので、とても良い体験になりました。特に、背中にコケの生えた（？！）象の花子さんや、リス園の自由に走り回る日本リス、そしてふわふわのモルモットとのふれあいコーナーは大人気！スクールでお勉強した動物の名前もみんなしっかり覚えていてくれたね。あっぱれ！(’ω＜)Y
